One of the main goals of this blog is to help a mom be a hustlemama otherwise known as a mother who is able to take care of her family and herself through her knowledge of self, work ethic, creative ideas, motivation, tenacity and determination. Let's face it, a lot of us would love to make enough, if not a lot, of money to live comfortably and be able to manage raising our kids. It just seems like having a regular day job just isn't enough these days, you basically have to have multiple hustles... or one really great big hustle to accomplish the mission. I'm working on my multiple hustles and have been using CNBC's "The Big Idea" show as food for my motivation (Donny Deutsch, I'm comin' for ya!). A true hustlemama will be watching and/or tivo-ing this show to learn tricks of the trade to take a great idea and make it into millions. I really love it because it spotlights a lot of mothers who have spawned their own businesses out of nothing. While regular moms might watch Oprah, Martha Stewart or the View, a hustlemama knows that shows that help you with your hustle is where it's at.
(The Big Idea with Donny Deutsch comes on weeknights 10p/1am ET)
